Personality Profiling and the DISC method
I am all about learning what makes people tick and different personalities. I have been studying and practicing the principals that apply to the DISC method of personality profiling. This is a great way to know what type of personality you are dealing with when you take on a new client. Do you work with a personality profiling system or use something similar when you first meet a client? I don’t have clients take a test, I can usually spot a personality and know what they are looking for in a business partner. I know a lot of agents that do personality profiling when hiring a new team player. Do you have anything that you use or have you seen agents use anything creative when they are hiring?

I’ve never heard of the DISC method of personality profiling. I’m going to have to check that out. It sounds VERY interesting Kandra, thanks for sharing.

Hi Kandra~ Keller Williams uses this method for new hiring. I think its becoming quite popular. There is some additional info about on AR, written by Betsy Talbot, its a great article.

I’ve not personally used the DISC method but had to take a DISC when hired by one of my Realtor(R) clients. I do know someone who is certified in DISC profiling to assist in the hiring of new subcontractors and to businesses in general. It’s a great tool to make sure you’re getting the right people on the bus. I firmly believe that you can always teach a skill but personality is innate.
