Try These Valentine’s Day Home Staging Tips
Tuesday is Valentine’s Day. Believe it or not, many couples -especially newlyweds or young couples celebrating an anniversary, or getting close to one - search for homes on Valentine’s Day. Why shouldn’t they? After all, it is a “couples” activity.
If you know of a couple out looking at homes on Valentine’s Day, try these home staging tips:
- Put a vase with three or four red roses on the bar or living room mantle
- Place throws and pillows on the sofa with heart-shaped decorations to set a romantic mood
- In the bedroom, put a romantic bed covering on the bed and top it off with colorfully-dressed dolls
- In the bathrooms, get toilet paper with heart-shaped decorations and find some potpourri that won’t be objectionable but will give off a pleasant, subtle scent not too strong
- Do the same thing in the kitchen with paper towels and add another flower vase but instead of roses try something “sunny” and bright
