Organize Your Day Using Microsoft Outlook
Here’s a quick tip for use with MS Outlook:
If you spend a lot of time looking at your computer and you always have Outlook open (which you should if you are a VA), then you can program your entire day with your fingertips. On the bottom left of the Outlook screen you should see “Mail,” “Calendar,” “Contacts” and “Tasks” tabs. Click on tasks and you can enter each task, due date and track the status of your projects all in one tool that is connected with your calendar and e-mail tools. It’s a powerful tool and big time saver. Cut down on the use of sticky notes, paper tablets and other such “loosies” that are hard to keep up with. Put it all on your desktop.
