I just got off the phone with a petential client and have heard a lot of the same thing that agents struggle with in business.
They get going, do it all on their own and then hire someone and try to teach them.
What gets left out? A plan!
I think in order to build a strong business you have to have your systems in place.
I wonder if any of the “Big 3″ did it without a plan?

Do you show your current and past clients that you care? Are you following up with a Thank You card after you meet someone new? We are losing touch with clients sometimes because we are such a digital society. Don’t get me wrong! I am all digital, however we need to still have the human touch to our business. If you are not sending out cards to clients on a regular basis you really need to. Take a look at this card company that will print, mail and stuff your cards for you. Click here

If you don’t have one you should! A lot of agents are trying to do everything on their own and haven’t explored how a Virtual Assistant can assist them with their Real Estate business. If you are missing the boat on this one you really need to consider how you are going to take your business to the next level.
Virtual Assistants can assist you with things like:
Ghost Blogging
Feature Sheets
Flyers
CMA
Internet Marketing
Website Maint
Transaction Management
and on and on….
If you are suffering from the standard “not enough hours in a day” you might want to consider teaming up.

Microsoft Outlook is a great product if you know how to use the bells and whistles.
I have a lot of templates made up for clients and I save them as a .oft file. When I need the template again all I have to do is click on the file and it brings up template.
If you are looking to do something custom then create it in Microsoft Word and copy and paste it into an e-mail and then save it as a .oft file. This will save a lot of time having to search or recreate things.
What Outlook tips do you have?

This software allows you to Sync outlook with your team and your palm and best of all it is free.
It looks really neat, however I haven’t had a chance to play with it and thought I would pass it on to all of you.

I just wanted to let everyone know how exciting it was to have you all on the call. We were bombarded with e-mails and calls on how exciting it was and a lot of agents are now on the hunt for new Virtual Assistants.

I received a post from a real estate agent on a Virtual Assistant blog and she had a great closing gift.
Her Name is Pam Hoffmann and Pam said she gets throw blankets. The throws come with embroidery that reads “Welcome to Your new Home Pam Hofmann.”
Check out Pam’s website and the website you can get the throws.

Does anyone have it? If so, what is your experience with it and average monthly payment. I am looking into the program, however I am not sold yet. Do you know any similiar companies that offer the same type of service?
